For season 53 work will be undertaken to continue building a strong and focused hills team. And the team will be in search for talent to match this profile. This will be to help the team get into a new dimension and grow to be competitive at a higher level of racing.
The role of certain riders in the team will be reviewed and a few may have to part ways with the World Communism Team to allow for this further development.
In the meantime,  Addis Gebreselassie will continue to serve as a captain and is expected to gather points and results in Division 6 and 7 more than he did in season 52.
Yoweri Ayesu may also more occasionally serve as a captain in very particular races with flat finishes but enough difficulties to thin out the bunch of traditional flat sprinters. His future with the squad after season 53 will depend on the evolution of the team and on the profile of the next captain(s).
While this should be a transitional season with a squad still under construction, there will be some expectation for results.
The team will not target any specific events as it is extremely unlikely that we could make the cut into Division 6 in time for the Cesko-Slovensky Pohar and be in form for it, and the Tour of the Sanreizan is not a good match for the squad in its current setting.
Addis Gebreselassie will only be looking to defend his crown in Rundt om Vejle should the team naturally find itself at that level at the time of this race.
However, the team will be targeting to do much better than in season 52 and will aim for a minimum of 7 results including at least 2 wins.
